Our Commitment to User Safety
We have strict policies in place to safeguard users from harassment, scams, abuse, and inappropriate behavior. Our approach includes:
OTP Verification – Users must verify their account via one-time password (OTP) to limit multiple accounts and enhance security.
In-App Reporting Tools – Users can always report inappropriate behavior, suspicious activity, or policy violations directly within the app.
Privacy & Anonymity – Wisper does not share mobile numbers or profile photos, ensuring user privacy unless they choose to share details themselves.
Strict Age Restriction (18+) – Wisper is for adults 18 years and older only. Accounts suspected of belonging to minors will be removed immediately.
Preventing Child Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE)
Wisper has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and takes immediate action against any violations.
Voice-Based Platform Security – Since Wisper primarily uses voice recordings, the likelihood of CSAM being shared is significantly lower. However, if any inappropriate or illegal content is detected, we will take immediate action.
Prohibited Content – Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) will be removed and reported to legal authorities.
User Reporting – If you encounter any suspicious activity related to minors, please report it immediately through the app or email info@wisper-connect.com.au.
Law Enforcement Collaboration – We work with legal authorities and safety organisations to prevent and address CSAE cases.
If any form of CSAM is reported or detected, we will immediately investigate and take appropriate action, including removing content, banning accounts, and reporting to law enforcement.
Protecting Your Privacy
Wisper is designed with privacy and anonymity in mind, allowing users to engage authentically while staying in control of their personal information.
No Mobile Number or Photo Sharing – Your mobile number and photos are never displayed to other users.
User-Controlled Information – You decide when and how to share additional details about yourself.
Recognising & Avoiding Scams
While we work hard to remove bad actors, users should stay vigilant against romance scams and fraudulent activity. Here are some red flags to watch out for:
Someone asks for money, gifts, or financial help.
They try to move the conversation off the platform too quickly.
They refuse to interact within Wisper’s structure and avoid answering direct questions.
They pressure you into sharing personal or financial information.
If something feels off, trust your instincts and report the profile using our in-app tools.
Reporting & Unmatching Tools
Your safety is in your hands! Wisper provides easy-to-use tools to help you manage interactions with other users.
Unmatching – If you no longer want to engage with a user, you can unmatch them at any time, and they will no longer be able to contact you.
Reporting – Users can always report inappropriate behavior directly in the app or via info@wisper-connect.com.au.
Review & Action – Our team reviews reports swiftly and takes appropriate action, including warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans.
